The Masquerade

Last week I teased you guys with my new Twirl My Way Coat and promised to give a full review of this stunning winter warmer. Well I sneakily shot the coat straight after my Wonderland set so I could pair it with the Masquerade Dress and show you just how amazing they look when paired.

I love to visit my favourite Dangerfield store once every few weeks to see all of the new styles and prints in reality. From the moment I spotted the Twirl My Way coat I knew that I had to have it and annoyed my husband for the rest of the day talking about it non-stop.

Originally I tried this on I a size 16 and it was super fitted but really flattering. But given all of the layers I tend to wear in winter I opted to go up to a size 18 so I could hid jumpers and thicker skater dresses beneath this stunning piece.

The fit is PERFECT! Roomy in the arms to accommodate so many of my most loved winter outfits and fitted at the bust and waist. I can easily button this style up fully, but I've chosen to undo the top as I wanted to show the amazing fabric of the dress.

This coat is so thick, warm and perfect for daily wear in chilly old Melbourne. The dark pomegranate colour is also a perfect winter shade of deep red.  I love this style and fit so much I'm actually contemplating getting the forest green version. This style is currently on sale so be sure to snap it up at a great price!

The perfect frock to pair with the twirl coat has to be the Masquerade Dress. This full skirted, sweetheart neckline style in a complimenting maroon shade covered with masked bunnies, flowers and little plants. A magical and very whimsical print that works perfectly with the wonderland range as well.

The bust line is perfect for showing that little big of cleavage an the thicker straps and high back make sure no annoying bra straps are shown. I'm wearing this dress in an 18 and while it fits perfectly at the waist the bust is making me pancake a little.

I find that Princes Highway styles are less accommodating for busty girls which is a real shame as I adore the prints and colours of that label this season. So lets home that a roomier bust fit is on the cards for us in the future as I'd wear this style daily if my boobies fit better.

Other styles available with this adorable masked bunny can be found here. I think the peephole cardigan would look absolutely amazing with the Masquerade dress.

Many thanks to my brilliant photographer Brooke Orchard who found these stunning orange and yellow trees which pair perfectly with this whole look. We both adore Autumn so shooting with foliage like this is perfection for us!
