Late last year I discovered one of the most stunning UK based lingerie brands through my favourite blonde bombshell - Gia Genevieve! After seeing the most delicious of images, I had to hunt down Playful Promises and get my curves into their stunning designs.
At this point their products only went up to a F but knowing that some brands are a little roomier I though what the hell and my most lusted after set was in my hot little hands.

It's clear now that I have an addiction to cage bras and I'm completely ok with this. Mix my favourite design with a long line shape and I'm absolutely smitten! I opted for the 36F in the long line bra and the band is perfect! For longline styles I opt to go a size up if I've not tried the style or brand before and the longer fabric length in a bigger sizes ensures that there is not rolling of the fabric.
How stunning is this bra? Bold lines, silky touch and great structure makes this style an absolute dream to wear. I love the styling of the cup and the cage features and to make sure you don't get any fit issues there are heaps of hook and eye closures at the bad so it will hold in place.
I usually wear an 34GG or a 36G so wearing a F was going to be a risk either way but the end result is - I'm still a G or GG. While the bands fits like a dream I have stuffed myself into this cup and one size up would be perfection. But that won't stop me from wearing this brilliant design out under a little black dress. I've paired this set with my favourite leather Orchard Corset underbust longline style and super cute retro babydoll from Secrets in Lace.
I also ordered the matching black satin and mesh harness brief in an XL and the sizing here is spot on. These high waisted briefs perfectly frame the body and exaggerates curves, creating hourglass shapes. I can wear these on my hips or a little higher depending on how I feel on the day. The adjustable neck strap is so comfortable and turns this brilliant bra into and even more stunning creation. The straps for this neck feature can be shortened if you want to opt for a waist strap during the day. As with some harnesses the issue of going to the loo pops up and getting in and out of harness or full body structural items can be simply annoying but you won't have an issue with these briefs as they simply slip on and off.
So after my first set I have to say I'm really in love with both the designs and quality of Playful Promises and can't wait to try their fuller bust collection. The following are on my lust list :
I personally adore all the styles but I have the Juliet Harness set and the Portia on my lust list and can't wait to shoot some stunning bold shapes and bright colours over the next few months. I have heaps of bright colours in my collection currently and need to hunt down some perfectly paired corsets to work with them.
