Kiargo

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

I'm back once again with another review from the Australia based swimwear company Kiargo.

Over the Christmas break I packed a big bag of swimsuits, accessories and shoes and headed down to Bendigo to shoot with one of my favorite Victorian photographers Katherine Davis.

Last year I showed you my first shoot/review of the great swimsuits on offer. Now I want to show you the some of the newer styles that available from the current collection.

I love a great structured one piece black swimsuit a simple classic that every girl needs. This suit is unbelievably flattering with the tight fit and rouching it really hugs your curves. I'm wearing a size 16 and it is a perfect fit. I wear a 16 in all of the Kiargo range and for bust fitting bra's I'm a DD style.

The only issue I had was with the bust, I've not figured it out yet sadly. Posing helped my bust look good in these shots but my chest did not properly fit into the top half. There is limited fabric headed towards the back of the suit around the bust area also. It might just be my chest but this one I still have to work with for a perfect bust fit.

Wait....Teer in another bikini? Make that two in this post and 3 in total from Kiargo! I really love their bikini's and I never thought I'd say that about any style bikinis.

This set is really cute, very bright and oh so pinup! I styled this with my asos blue wide brim hat and my favorite waist belt to create more of an 'lounging around the pool' look opposed to an actual 'swimming' outfit.

The fit of both the briefs and the top are that comfortable I wore this all day under a summer dress and had great support. Due to the ties around the back and neck this suit can accommodate large or smaller back sizes with ease. The removable pads are great also for adding little more shape added to the bust.

Now saving the best for last!

Cherry Headband - Sportsgirl (instore sale)

Photobucket

Details :
  • D/DD cup bandeau bikini top
  • Sizes 8-18
  • Black with contrasting black and white viceroy print bustline and centre Kiargo embroidery logo
  • Removable ruffle details
  • Moulded cups with hidden underwire, side boning and powermesh support
  • Removable and adjustable shoulder straps can be styled cross-back, standard or strapless
  • Elasticated back with easy clip-on

I want to dance when I wear this! It is adorable and perfect for D/DD bust lines. This top honestly fits better than most of my bras. The ruffle details just adds that little extra something to make this swimsuit POP!

I chose to pair this with a plain black bikini bottom as I loved the fit and look of this style. The folded waist band provides adjustable tummy coverage and can be worn high or low. Together this becomes the perfect bikini and with the ability to purchase separates you can mix and match with other colours and styles.

Kiargo really know how to perfectly fit curves and large busts and I would not trust any other brand for swimwear after having so much luck with so many of their styles. You can also follow Kiargo on facebook here.

Many thanks to the brilliant Katherine Davis who worked on these images with me. It is always so fun to take a little trip to Bendigo and play in the sunshine with Katherine. I love what we create together and hope to work with her again and again.

You can check out more of her work via her website, blog or facebook page. You can hire Katherine for weddings, portfolios, child photography and more!

  2. You are divinely gorgeous and these pics are so very beautiful. I am madly in love with your hair and you have a kiler bod.

I had no idea you were an Aussie. Shamefully with bogs, I flick over the pics for fashion and beauty inspiration. I just presumed you were a fabulous o/s lady. So proud we have such gorgeous plus size models right here in Melbourne. Makes me proud. Lol, and you know what made me realise you were Australian? I saw that headband and went "Hey, I have that. I wonder where she got it from?" :)
