Forever a Missfit

Last week BlackMilk Clothing released what might be my favourite range to date - The Missfits! A rebellious punk rock inspired range of pieces that just call my name. I was lucky enough to snap up my 3 must have pieces and this past weekend I got to style them to perfection.

Bat Belt

Silver stars, sheer layers and a stunning sleeve - Stellar you are my absolute fave! A little while back I feel hard for a similar shape all black number from BlackMilk but this print has blown my mind.

I'm wearing the Stars Corrupted dress in a size Large and due to the stretch it's a perfect fit. With enough room at the bust and arms and the must boob flattering bust known to man kind. This piece fully lined so there are no issues with bras showing and covered in metallic stars.

As this piece is lined, you'll be able to wear it all year round and it looks amazing when paired with tights over the cooler months. Pair this with thick black tights, a body suit and your favourite leather jacket and it will be a stunning winter look.

For styling on this shoot I've paired this dress with my Joyeuse Earrings from Tragic Beautiful. I wanted a bold silver earring and these daggers are amazing and super affordable. I'm that smitten with these oversized daggers that I've already worn them three times this week. I need to jump back onto Tragic Beautiful and get more!

If you've not noticed, I love a plaid print and the brighter the better in my opinion. So from the moment I saw this bright yellow wonder it immediately had to be on my body. If you've not had the pleasure of wearing a Toastie style from Blackmilk yet you will be needing them this winter! These pieces are fleece lined and absolutely amazing for those supercold days.

The classic skater shape with a super flattering sleeve and bust in the best and brightest of yellow plaid. This style hits me mid thigh and covers my toosh without any issues. I'm wearing the XL as I find these fabrics can morph with my bust at times.

The feel of this fabric is so soft and comfortable I swear you'll never want to take it off. I'll be pairing this with lots of leggings and stocking and over wearing this for the next few months.

Oh and did I mention it has pockets? I'm can see myself wearing this all winter paired with heaps of different chunky Demonia boots and platforms.

Styling wise for this look I've wanted to pair the skater with a harness and luckily I found the Hold Me Tight  body harness. I how effortlessly this piece pairs with the bright yellow plaid and how it complements my figure. Now this harness is actually too small for me which is a common issue when I buy one size fits all. Luckily after a brief online search, I found and purchased a vest extender from a motorbike clothing store and it's now more suited to my waist.

You might have also noticed little pop of silver on my ear. Last year I got an industrial piercing in that exact location but having long hair it just did not want to heal properly So this combination of stud a cuff helps me create the same look without any pain. I love the look of the chains, charms and can't get enough of this piece. It also comes in black, so I'll have to order that soon for when I'm wearing my hair up.

It's pretty darn freezing in Melbourne right now so I've been hunting for awesome prints to pair with my boots and skater dresses. While I do live in classic black leggings over the cooler months I've been in need of some more funky prints to wear with all black looks.

So when the red and black wet look tartan leggings popped up in this collection I instantly had them on my lust list. They pair perfectly with my PVC under dress and chunky Demonia boots. I think I'll be wearing these with my JOMO.2 black mini pini as well.

I wear these in a size XL.They are smooth, super comfortable and really pop with a skater dress or skirt. My legs are forever warm a toastie thanks to the awesome stockings and legging created by Blackmilk.

Let's also take a brief moment to drool over my Demonia Torment boots from Shoeme.com.au. These babies are super high yet super comfortable. Over the last few years, my Demonia collection has grown substantially and I'm loving it.
