Sleepy Hollow

I finally had the time to shoot my beloved Sleepy Hollow pieces from La Femme En Noir! The most divine styles created my loves Micheline and Lynh based around the folklore and store of Sleepy Hollow.

Now my mum tells me that from a very young age I was obsessed with the Headless Horseman so this is a perfect fit!

A lot of magic when into this collection it seems. The tailoring on each piece is curve hugging perfection and the prints are both iconic and stunning.

The Gothic Tales Toile features lovingly hand sketched images from the movie in a pastoral toile pattern. This amazing print on a soft and stretchy grey base makes for one of the most bold pieces I have ever added to my wardrobe.

With a deep V neckline and lace up bust this dress is perfection on a busty lass like myself. I'm also madly in love with the long dramatic leg of mutton style sleeves as they really flatter my arms.

This style is jersey so it has heaps of stretch. I'm wearing the XL and it's still roomy but I love how it fits at my bust and waist so it's a keeper.

Honestly I feel phenomenal in this piece and regret not ordering the all black velvet version.

Styling wise with this print I wanted a classic lace up boot. I've got every Vivika Boot under the sun so I opted for the Telsa for a more time appropriate style. The steam punk detailing on these faux leather lace up boots really makes for an iconic style.

Reaching mid calf these boots feature gear eyelets in bronze and a 4 inch heel. The toe detailing is also really cute.

I'll be wearing these all winter with more dark and gothic looks!

Oh Katrina! I knew from the moment that this themed collect that if this dress was recreated it had to me mine. Luckily I ordered this before it sold out and now I can live out my sleepy hollow dreams!

The bodice is fitted and ponte lined. The neckline is delicately trimmed with the stripe ruffle and black venise lace. 3/4 shirred sleeves also have a ruffle trim. This makes for a rather structured yet comfortable dress.

I stayed with the 2XL for this style as I knew the waistband was going to be firm and the fit and I was spot on. I was not 100% sure what the bust style would do for my chest but being so in love with the OG outfit in the film I needed it either way. Luckily for me it's rather flattering and does not add any extra bulk.

I feel absolutely stunning in both of these dresses and I can't wait to wear them for both costumes and every day wear. The comfort level and amazing tailoring make these a dream to wear.

Styling wise I went with a simple black velvet choker. I wanted these two dresses to shine and anything else would have just been over doing it. For shoes however I found the most amazing Demonia's to pair with this look.

You know I'm a man fan of the Vivika boot so when they released a 3 inch heeled mary jane style it was an instant must have. With that solid cuban heel. wingtip styling and a chunk metal bat and stud detailing this babies really shine!

An absolute ease to slip on and off as they bat is attached to thick and stretchy elastic. Size wise I went with my normal US10 but found them a little too restrictive so I swapped to the 11 and now they fit like a dream.

This is the kind of shoe you can wear all day long and feel amazing. I'm such a huge fan of the Vivika and will honestly buy every  single style released.

After falling in love with the bats it's was the obvious next step to get a healed style featuring the same chunky metal brilliance. With a 5 inch heel and a 1 1/2 inch concealed platform these mary janes are gothic perfection.

It's those little details that make the Demon-18 such a bold style - the batwing shape and pattern as it curves around your foot ending with a sharp wing point.  The back seem also features bold silver cone spikes to add that extra level of evil perfection. I'm in LOVE!

I honestly can't get enough of all of these shoes and outfits. I need to wear them EVERYWHERE!!!
