Lucky in love with T.U.K

Today I wanted to share with you my new babies, the Lucky Sky High Heels from T.U.K. - $48.00US. Shoes are my obsession, they always have been and always will be and high heels are my number 1 love. A perfect pair of medium sized heels for anyone who loves rockabilly pinup style shoes and prints.

These are from the Viva Las Vegas Collection and feature a red, black and cream showgirl design by artist Kimberly. They have a 4 inch gold heel and like all of T.U.K.'s shoes are vegan friendly.

Now for the nitty gritty! Fit wise they are a tad smaller than my other 3 pairs of T.U.K. shoes but its nothing that one wear won't stretch out. Please see my other features here and here. They are very comfortable though and the I can walk on this heel with ease. The print is what sold me firstly, I really adore a bright pattern or motif on an accessory. The retro feel and Vegas artwork is perfectly worked into this simple closed to shape. I also love the bright gold heel with the ruby red sole underneath, it really pops!

Now all i need to find is the perfect outfit to match these funky shoes.

Chilly Times

Its far too cold here but I've found one salvation today. I've been snuggled up in this amazing, super soft shawl for the whole day. Though lightweight i found wearing it over a long sleeve top for some winter layering really kept me warm all day.

When I'm not snuggled up at home I'll wear this with jeans, ridding pants or anything with a skinny leg and a singlet or another knit depending on how the weather is. This will take me righting though to spring also which is great. This is a One-Size fits all item and its very roomy, loose and could fit just about any shape or size with ease.

Sorry I can't accompany an image along with this post the shawl is brand new and I'm just slothing about at home wearing it with all my other warm clothing. I will try and work it into an outfit post down the track though.

Pin Me Up

If you can't tell already one of my biggest addictions is Pinup Girl Clothing. With impeccable tailoring, beautiful silhouettes and styles fit for any retro vixen what is not to love! I may not dress like a pinup every day of the week but when I do this is the only brand I buy!

So armed with some new season stock and core favorites Jaimie Nicole Photography and I headed down to The Tiki Lounge & Bar in Melbourne to create some amazing images to add to this review. This location and the clothing combined are a match made in heaven! All the items I'm wearing are a size XL.

The Gia Top - $42US and Audrey Skirt - $78US

The Gia Top like the amazing Pinup model it was named after is red HOT! I'm wear the Gia in Burgundy. It is a perfect fit, soft and stretchy with lots off room to accommodate my E/DD chest but this would also look perfect with a smaller chest. The long sleeve is a perfect length for the weather in Melbourne right now and this top is so versatile you can wear it with anything from high waist skirts to you favorite pair of jeans.

The Deep Burgandy shade divine, this top also comes in Black, Red, Flesh Tone, Teal and White.

The Audrey Skirt - Absolute perfection in skirt form! This fits my waist/lower rib cage snuggly and is a perfect length just above my knees. It naturally skims over the the hips and the pleats are fantastic. This skirt skims over your hips and the high waist is really sliming. Finished off with a black bow in the same cotton fabric! I will wear this all year round, with stockings, boots and fitted shirts in winter and less in the summer. This skirt also comes in Pink!

My shoes are from T.U.K .- $120US. Now these ruby red babies from the Platinum Collection are not for the faint hearted. I'm still teaching myself to walk in them. The wedge/heel is really unique and the embroidering and corset heel really make these shoes attract attention.

The Doris Skirt Peacock Print - $76US

I've actually be hunting for full A-line skirt for the last year but non have come close to this design. The Doris Skirt is a high waisted full swing style skirt in a peacock print (also available in black) for a closer look at the pattern view product shots on the website. I then paired with my Doris Top - $52US but the Gia Top in black would also look amazing with it. Now i'm wearing this without a petticoat and it drapes beautifully but if you want a more pronounced shape be sure to wear one under in a complimenting colour to give a real swing look.

Retro Pencil Skirt -$48US

Finally I have found my perfect pencil skirt! I've tried many but nothing comes close to the fabric, cut and length of this style. I only have one issue - my waist seems to be a little small for this XL so I am taking it to the tailor to make it even more perfect. This pencil skirt is the core item every woman needs in her wardrobe. You can dress it up or down, wear it all year round and in black its so very versatile. Made from a cotton spandex blend it will hug your curves perfectly with a little stretch to the fabric.

I'm wear the now discontinued Natalie top in Leopard, this top does not exist any more sadly. But I have heard that they will be bringing out a new version of this design with some slight changes. My shoes are Bordello by Pleaser kindly lent to me by my photographer.

Deadly Dames Vamp Dress - $98US

I took a gamble on this dress I was not sure about the colour with my red hair or how I'd look in a polka dot print but as you can see it works! This dress was designed to hug your curves and really show them off. I'm wearing the black belt that came with the Doris Skirt to shape my waist more so and a bolero borrowed from my photographer. Micheline Pitt has the most amazing taste and design skills, Deadly Dames is my favorite of all the lines on the website.

Made of a non stretch cotton sateen it fist like a glove. The sculpted bust and fully adjustable straps does wonders for your chest. This also allows you to customize the dress to fit your bust size better. I really like how this fits my body, I'm considering buying one more of this style but I'm not sure if I should get the Vamp in Black, Tiger or Zebra print.
