!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!CLOSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Winner to be announced later today.

As we hit our second month of winter her in Australia I've got a fantastic giveaway that will keep you warm through the chillier months!

Do you know Torrid? If you don't then you have been missing out! They are an amazing US and online store that caters for women sizes 12-28US. From clothing to accessories, basics to evening wear, shoes to underwear they really are a one stop shop! I buy core items from their range and I really love their jeans as shown in a earlier post.

So to start of the first of my Torrid Giveaways (2 in total) Please note the sizes you don't get to choose the size sorry.

I have the one item every woman needs in winter - an warm, cosy and cute coat! I have this in a size 0 - but its extra roomy so it will fit anyone from a 16- 18 Australian. Military is my favorite look this season and the features on this coat are brilliant.

Black Brass Button Military Coat

And to wear underneath this cute grey knit top. This would look great paired with skinny black jeans or a high waisted pencil skirt. Its a loose fit like the jacket so this size 0 would best fit a 16 or 18.

LMFF - City Chic Rocked the Runway!

Last Wednesday I attended the City Chic runway show at L'Oreal Fashion Festival 2011 and it was brilliant!

Not only did I got to the runway show held in the heart of the city at Federation Square, I also went to the Cosmo in store styling session and the after party - an absolute action packed day!

The show was inspirational and every girl simple stunning!

I adore runway, its one of my favorite aspects of modeling as there is no better feeling than breaking through that nervous barrier and strutting your stuff. The women featured in the City Chic parade did me proud they are strong, beautiful, talented and so curvy!

Best part of the day I got to hang out with Danimezza and Fashion Hayley.

These amazing shots were taken by Danimezza who covered this whole even for City Chic over all social networks. She did an amazing job and I think we must clone her asap!

Adore the top and I always have a big place in my heart for City Chic skinny jeans!

4 of the 5 items designed by Damn You Alexis that will be available next month in City Chic stores.

My stand out favorite from this collection, love the mix of jersey and faux leather. I'm usually not a fan of strapless but this show sold me on the style.

I need this in my life asap, though its a few months away. My jaw dropped when I saw that hit the stage. Its so girly and sweet, white (not a colour I ever wear) but I want to buy this. I'm thinking of pairing it with a black biker pleather jacket and some epic high heels.

The showstopper Laura Wells in this amazing one off design blew me away. I would wear this!! Full of chains, fishnet, leather and lace its stunning!

Look at that twirl!!! I might be a little bias as Laura is my favorite plus size model but I really adore this shot and the whole outfit. Seeing her briefly off stage in casual clothes inspired me also to buy the pants she was wearing. I will leave them for a future post, warning they are shinny!

Then after the parade, we ate horrid burgers, chatted and the headed to the Cosmo Styling session held at the Burke Street store. This and the afterparty were fantastic, If i get any more shots (that I look semi ok in) I will update them to this blog!

Courtney Maxwell and I at the in-store session. She is so sweet, friendly and stunning! I'm wearing my Wheels & Dollbaby Dita Cardigan, a plain black pencil skirt and lace gloves from Sportsgirl. The peach version of this cardie is out next month and you can preorder up to a size 5, I'm getting mine as soon as possible.

17 Sundays

17 Sundays the new Australia kid on the block dedicated to denim and boutique fashion. Focusing on denim based street wear, boutique bespoke graphics, funky fully fashioned knits and commercial jersey dressing.

I've been lucky enough to test run some of the garments and I honestly tell you that for some great key pieces and comfy casuals look no further.

There designs are modern and funky, great fabrics and fit so well. I'm not most casual dresser as you can tell from most of my posts so I've not had a chance to shoot these yet but I will try to work some of the pieces into shoots in upcoming months.

Here is what I've worn and a little insight into the fit and feel of the garment. I'm wearing all items in a 14 or Small.

TOKYO BLUES STRAIGHT LEG JEAN - $139.00AU

An amazing soft yet sturdy premium Turkish denim. They have a small amount of stretch and stay in shape after the first wear (greatest things jeans can do). They are a lower rise but I'm ok with this as I bodysuits with most of my jeans so it works well. The colour is the same in reality I promise they are really a lovely pair of blue jeans.

BACK IN BLACK DENIM SKIRT - $89.95

I've never had a denim skirt but this one has swayed me! On me this sits on my hips and skims over them really well. A straight fit with a great black wash it works in summer and the colder months, just mix it with tights!

FLOCK OF SEAGULLS TOP - $59.95

This is heaven on a really hot day as the Jersey is soft and the chiffon sleeves are so light. Love the low neck line and I wear this with a waist belt just bellow the bust to really make the flowing sleeves pop even more so!

JAIL BREAK TEE - $69.95

Perfect to wear with pencil skirts, denim skirts, skinny jeans and more! The strips don't add bulk and the print and sequin details are so cute. The fit on this is a little smaller than the Flock of Seagulls top but its perfect on me. As the nights get cooler I will wear this with high waist pencil skirts and maybe even a beret to top off the look.

The perfect lazy Sunday tee. I'm usually not a tee girl more so not a loose fitting tee girl but this print rocks. I love it with jeans or shorts, my mother also steals this off me far too often. I might take it in at the sides though as I'm really not a fan of loose fitting garments on my shape I think i just adds bulk.

Have a look at the site, join 17Sundays on facebook and tell me what you want.

Outfit shots and reviews for a few different and exciting items coming up over the next few weeks and I will announce the winner of my Simply Be giveaway on the 18th!

Shades of Grey

My favorite shade to wear right now is Grey if you can't tell. I'm really fond of just how easily it mixed and matches with so many styles and colours in my wardrobe.

Now with a wardrobe full of blue and black skinny jeans I thought it was only natural progression to get a grey pair to make my collection complete! These are also my first pair of jeans from Torrid and I love them!

Source of Wisdom - Virtual Stretch Grey Skinny Jean - $52.00USD

They are stretchy, soft and in a great colour. The Virtual Stretch Denim gives them a skin tight fit but they are very giving and comfortable. Skinny jeans that give you room to move and jump about. I'm wearing the size 12US in a 32 length and i think they are really a perfect fit though they will stretch a lot after a few days wear.

Paired with my favorite studded faux leather jacket, a basic black and white strip fitted tee and my new Studded Mary Jane Pumps $29.99USD from Hot Topic. If you have not noticed already I have a small obsession with studs!

Can't commit to grey jeans yet? How about these?

I also got these amazing skull drop diamante earrings but I can't find them on the site anymore. So here are some of my favorite jewelery items from their current stock. This shot also gives away one of my secret loves, even though i naturally have long eyelashes I love wearing falsies when I get the chance.

Mix Chain Multi Cross Layered Necklace - $16.50US

Many thanks again to Michelle Grace Hunder Photography for shooting this with me and the lovely Deanna for assisting on the day.
