What Size?

I get asked quite often what size I am and I'm never shy to share.

I am a size 14-16 here in Australia and a size 12 or 14 in the US.

If often find that is someone has similar measurements it can be very helpful when buying clothing from the US so here they are.

Killer curves need deadly designs

Pinup Girl Clothing have released previews of the Fall 2010 in house range and I've fallen head over heels for so many items.

Here are some great shapes and a designs that I personally know will suit a girl with curves.

Every hour glass figure is perfectly suited to a wrap style dress and this swing skirted wrap by Pinup Couture is deelish! Features I love about this are the waist belt to make your middle even smaller and the swing skirt - this will make you twirl like crazy. Simple black for evening or print for daytime.



The Ava Dress (shown in teal) which also comes in Jade Green - Oh my that color melts my heart! I own two dresses in this fabric and I swear its so soft and sexy. It has a lot of stretch and hugs your curves in just the right way. The cap sleeves are a great shape too and with the fabric they will give room for larger armed girl like myself.




Yes another swing dress but how can you go past a fantastic print with the most perfect bolero to match! The gathered bust gives perfect cleavage and the fitted waist has the same effect as the waist belt.



Then my absolute favorite from the Deadly Dames range by Micheline Pitt - I have this design in black and white strip (Juvenile Delinquent Dress) and this is the same shape. This dress goes up to a size 2X but can easily fit even larger due to the fabric. I wear a Large in this design!

Pop!

After bloging on sites such as Myspace and Tumblr in the past I have decided to cull them all and focus on only one. So pop goes my official blogging cherry and here we go!

I mainly wanted to create this blog to share my styling, fashion advice and knowledge with other curvaceous women of the world.

With my tastes ranging from vintage pinup to Alexander McQueen I hope I can share some insight into what can look good on a curvy figure.
